Well, my sister decided to leave the country for another 2 years and I sold my car a couple months ago and have been pretty bored. Sooo... I decided to mess with my sisters car a little bit.
Here's how the car looked about a month ago.
The heart of the beast...
I decided before I put any money into the car I should get it a nice alarm and some power doorlocks.
Getting ready for the actuators...
too many wires!!!
Next on go some cheapo $20 coil-overs...
and the result...
Thats all so far... I started cleaning up the paint last week. It's still amazingly nice considering it probably hasn't had any wax on it for the last 8 years... |

Thanks for all the positive comments
I actually just got done spraying the rear bumper with 'bumper black' and it looks 1 billion times better. Once I get the moldings and front bumper sprayed I'll put up some more pics.
As for a motor swap... not really planning on it unless the ol' d15 decides to take a dump. IF that should happen all I would put in would be a jdm d15b (sohc vtec) since it is after all my sisters car.
I dont really have many plans for it... but whenever I see something I think would go good, I pick it up and throw it on the car. Right now I'm looking for a brown glove box... thiefs do a TON of damage when they take a stupid $200 deck... Other than that I might get some omni-power coil-overs... but from what I read the fronts are the same as the eg fronts, which wont go very low... and I want this thing as low as I can make it since my sister said the only thing she didnt want me to do to the car was lower it
*edit*
I'm also looking for a beige 4-door hood that doesnt have any dents... If anybody has one shoot me a message Every time I see another beige 4-door driving around I chase it down and try to get the owner to trade hoods... lol, nobodys gone for it yet, next time I'm going to offer them some $$ too... haha |

sedans are oddly attractive, but only for the sleeperishness or the fact that theyre not hugely popular. Id consider buying my aunts sedan which is insanely clean on the outside but smoked in, but im savin up for an impreza rs. |

Well it's been awhile since I updated the progress... I currently have all of the moldings painted, but I've been lagging with pics since I got myself a new car. I'm planning on picking up a set of decent slipover coil-overs to replace the $20 pos's I have on the car right now. Along with that I need to see if the wheel bearing is actually going out and replace it if it is since my sister will be home in about a month and will want to take the car all over the state.
I also need to find a BROWN glove box for the car if anybody has one in good shape!
How the back bumper used to look:
No more bumper
In the process...
back on the car:
And here is my new car... 95 gsr, super freakin clean, but desperately in need of a lower stance.
and the wheels that will go on it or the civic, not sure which car will roll on what quite yet... if anybody want to ps them on either car (gotta drop the teg too;) ) go right ahead
